NSSC introduces the Advanced Detection, Assessment and Neutralization System (ADANS). Once again NSSC has taken the most advanced surveillance, detection and alarm assessment technology to a new level by integrating the Remote Operated Weapons System (ROWS). Now capable of neutralizing threats by aggressors intent on doing harm to critical facilities and infrastructure.
Force-on-force exercises have determined that increasing the probability of interdiction usually means increasing the size of the security force. Recent studies indicate that each manned position costs the nuclear industry over $300,00 a year. These are reoccurring costs. Furthermore studies have shown that responders located in these positions suffer from boredom and morale issues. The ADANS has been designed to replace responders located in the outer ring of defensive positions. This will not only increase the officer’s probability of survival, but will free up the responders for more important duties.
The ADANS detection system provides early detection of adversaries approaching the perimeter completely eliminating the element of surprise. NSSC’s design integration model has taken into account the intruders that are using stealth and used thermal detection cameras to aid the ADANS in eliminating an attack.

ROWS provides a state of the art remote firing platform capable of accepting any weapon system. This platform can exist on a network controlled by any number of users. Any operator can select any platform, zoom in and fire, all from the operators’ console. The console can be a standard PC, a rugged laptop or one of several other display and input devices. Depending on the rules of engagement, ROWS can offer a variety of operator assistance such as: slew-to-cue or the automatic feature.
These combined technologies ensure that all threats will be detected, assessed and neutralized with a minimal exposure to the defending forces. ADANS provides an unequalled capability within the battle space.
